hey all, sorry once again it as been so long between entries, I really have to start doing this in the evening when I get home from work. But there are so many other things on my plate and mind that I have been pretty sidetracked lately.

Most of you know, because I emailed a lot of you that NYCODesign.com has been gobble up by some bedazzler company? Actually my father let me know that he heard the name and product on TV just the other day? I talked with my talented partner and brother and we decided we liked the concept behind NYCO so we added "agency" so the new URL will be nycodesignagency.com, not too bad.

In other news Erin and I will probably be heading up to Aspen this weekend to watch a bit of the X Games. The guys from Oakley will be letting us crash in one of their rooms Saturday night, should be a good time.

In more work news, things at Spark have been interesting to say the least, that is really all I have to say about that, call me to get more info.

It has been a fun 2008 thus far here in Vail. Erin and I had our first visitors of the new year, my brother Paul and his girlfriend Layla. We had fun on the hill with a good dumping of the white stuff on Saturday night, Sunday proved to be a big learning experience for Paul and his powder riding skills... he made it though, I'm proud of ya bro. Layla was a champ and pushed through a couple days on the hill too. I think if Sunday would have been nicer, she would have been linking those turns for sure.

It was great having them but it is back to work and prepping for our next visitors - Sue and Chris from North Carolina... the snow should be a shock to the system. Although Chris is from Canada?

Well it always works out like this. I finally got everything worked out on my BlackBerry and as a X-Mas gift/bonus my Boss give us all an 8gig iphone!

I have had it for a couple days now and i LOVE it. Now that I have a case and screen protection I am not on pins and needles with it.

If you are an at&t customer I highly recommend you pick one up!

Really though I was very happy with the BlackBerry, but this thing is just ultra cool. can't say enough about it.

Hope everyone has a safe and filling thansgiving. Here in Colorado we will be having some guests, Sam and Max from Traverse City will be joining Erin and I. have some good eats planned along with some fun activities. The major issue here in Vail is the lack of snow! It is November 20th and we have NONE! So do some praying and hoping cause we need it.

Erin did it again, The Trifty Store Hero, She found this XL somewhat vintage FUJI "Gran Tourer SE" road bike. With all original parts! I tinkered with it last night and it works great, just some rear shifting issues, but I am contemplating making it a single speed anyway. Should be a fun project, i might learn something about bikes even? I will post updates as the work continues.

Exciting times here in the high country of Colorado! Two Resorts are open for business, Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin) opened two weeks ago, and Loveland Ski area opened just this week 10.15.07. With the snow falling at a pretty good rate it looks like Erin and I will be making our first turns this weekend at Loveland. Pretty excited!

It also seems like we will be having a good number of visitors this season, the family has been booking flights and we are stoked. It is always fun to see family and friends, so come on over.

Had a great weekend, Erin and I celebrated our one year anniversary. We headed to Denver to celebrate a bit. Saturday night was pretty great with a show at The Marquis Theater. This was a rare occurace, every band that played was actually good. First off was a band from denver who I can't remember, but not bad, second was SleeperHorse, these guys were really good, I thought kind of Small Brown Bike-ish. Next up was a band called Dead to Me (love the name, it's a phrase I use quite often) they were rather entertaining as well.

To cap the evening off was The Draft, this band was formed after Hot Water Music front man Chuck Ragan called it quites... Don't get me wrong The Draft is a Great, Solid Band, but listening and seeing them live you just know if they had Chuck up there with them they would just be that much better and MORE Amazing. Great Show to say the least.

So as we were enjoying an intermission cocktail I noticed a guy who looked like Jason Black of The Draft, wasn't 100% sure, so Erin took the initiative and went down and asked, sure enough it was and we both got a shot with him... Thanks Erin.

So it was a great weekend and a great top off of my first year of married life, once again... THANKS Erin for being you.
